One more SLEEPS and then were off to Japan..

I can hardly believe that this time has finally come. Tomorrow morning we leave for Japan and the Asian World Show. Yipee! Although, I have to tell you that, well, I had a really blonde moment. I bet most of you didn't know, I'm really a blonde.:)
Thank God, I called Julie today when I got home from the long 9 hour drive from Northern Ca shows this past weekend. I was relaxing, so I called Julie to chat about some stuff. When the conversation was finished I told her I would see her on Wednesday. Mind you, today is Monday. She laughed and said yeah right, see you tomorrow. I laughed and said Ha Ha see you Wednesday. She then put on her "mean" voice and said "Val, we leave tomorrow, TUESDAY" OMG, if I hadn't called her I would have shown up Wednesday, only to find NO JULIE> GGGGGGGGGGGG. As she is so dreading the flight she didn't find this funny at all. How poetic that would have been for her to be at the airport and me not. GGGGG. I don't know what I was thinking but just had it in my mind I left on Wednesday. The truth of the matter is, we arrive Wednesday afternoon in Tokoyo. So, this first blog will be short and sweet as I have much packing still to do. Wish us well and safe travels, next time we talk we'll be there.

  1. I'd like to say that I don't have a "mean" voice. I do, however, have a "break through the blonde" voice". I think that's what Val heard - and maybe a bit of panic!

  5. Did you see the movie Lost In Translation about Americans in Japan (Bill Murray and Scarlett Johanssen)? Their big problem was the shift in their sleep patterns. Great sign that you could sleep 10 hours your first night. Sounds like Mr. Ozeki is a very special person who knows the BEST when he sees it, and that's YOU.
